Sourdough at the Homestead: An Intimate, Hands-On Workshop
Join me for a cozy, in-depth workshop set right here on our homestead. I specialize in artisan sourdough bread and baked goods, and I’m so excited to welcome you into our own kitchen to share everything I know about the art of real sourdough.
This 2-hour, small-group workshop is designed to give you the confidence and skills to bake sourdough at home. We’ll cover what sourdough is, how fermentation works, how to maintain and use a starter, and walk through every step of the process—from mixing and shaping to baking. New this year: you'll bake a fresh loaf during class to take home warm from the oven, and also mix a second dough to ferment and bake later in your own kitchen.
Each student will receive:
• Your own organic, active sourdough starter
• Proofing basket
• Mixing bowl
• My Sourdough Basics e-book (with our go-to beginner’s recipe)
• Access to our private FB group for ongoing support and community
Expect a warm, welcoming space (our quaint homestead is mid-renovation but full of charm), seasonal refreshments, plenty of fresh air, and maybe a few chickens wandering by. Come ready to learn, ask questions, and share in the joy of real bread.

What We Built in Nashville
We’re from Las Vegas, but for the last few years we’ve been shaping dough in a small kitchen just outside of Nashville, TN.
What started with a few loaves on the front porch quickly turned into something much bigger—a word-of-mouth community, a sold-out schedule of workshops, and hundreds of people rediscovering the joy of baking real bread.
Over the past year, we’ve taught more than 500 people how to bake sourdough from scratch. Our classes became known for more than just step-by-step instruction—they were an experience: warm kitchens filled with the smell of bread in the oven, hands deep in flour, and good conversation around the table.
We offered:
Intimate, small-group workshops that often sold out in hours
Hands-on instruction using organic, thoughtfully sourced ingredients
Starters that are alive and baking strong in dozens of local kitchens
A rhythm of slowing down—learning to bake not just for the outcome, but for the process
We heard over and over again: “This was exactly what I didn’t know I needed.”
And now, we’ve brought all of that with us back to Las Vegas. Same heart. Same sourdough. New kitchen. New community.
